Me improvising the blues with a Squire strat through a Squire amp

This song displays my harmonic ability and guitar soloing ability (@ 3 minutes) below is me lecturing an experienced student at his first guitar lessons

Hello, my name is Ryan Lano. I am proud to be your guitar teacher! THANK YOU to students and families past, present, and future who believed in my program!

How do you serve our community?

Park Street Guitar Lessons At-Home Guitar Lessons has quickly become the area's most desireable new guitar lessons program! To take advantage of services call 507-341-4140 now. To learn about Ryan Lano's guitar teaching passion, read Park Street Guitar Lessons in The Mankato Free Press.

What are your qualifications?
My teaching success is the result of fourteen years of ambitious teaching, one college music degree, and 1,500 guitar students of experience to bring you the most value-packed and effective lesson plan available to the area. If you aren't thoroughly convinced of the results after your first guitar lesson that I will not shake your world, better your guitar learning experience, and provide you with the most adequate up to date and encompassing guitar program then I will eat my foot for your entertainment.

How do you do it?
To give each of my customers total value, I assess each individual's needs and acutely consider each students' personal goals and direct my know-how and procedures into an effective teaching process that produces results. It's actually not that hard for me to first listen and then determine what you will need to do now to immediately take off in your guitar playing. Let me show you what you can do!

    • I am constantly developing myself and my students around me with inspiration, education, and motivation! Most of all students who take lessons with me become excellent guitar players, jam with their friends at PSGL Studio, and continue with truely inspired success!

  • My own guitar journey started on my dad's acoustic guitar with three years of private guitar lessons in Winona, Minnesota with excellent teacher Mark Tibor 1990-1993.
  •

      • I would eventually take more theory lessons and continue to evolve in my own technique and style from 1994-1996.
      • In the summer of 1996 I took music theory lessons with Adam at Hardt's Music in Winona, Minnesota.
      • Next, I studied classical guitar under locally renowned classical and jazz player Jim McGuire of Mankato 1999-2002.
      • I would continue guitar performance from the MSU concert stage to many of Southern Minnesota's live venues.
      •  I then achieved a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Minnesota State University, Mankato in Spring 2004. My most inspiring classes were Intro to Music (with Dr. Aloisio), Music Theory (3 years), Composition (with Dr. Dickau), Ear Training and Dictation (3 years with Dr. Harry Dunscombe), Private Instruction in Guitar (3 1/2 years with Jim McGuire), Men's Chorus (5 years), Private Violin (1 year), Class piano (2 years), Class Instruction in Singing (2 years), Guitar Trio (3 years), Performance Recital (5 years), Music Literature and History (2 years with amazing Dr. Lindberg), Music of the Baroque (personally with Dr. Lindberg), Music of the Nineteenth Century (with Dr. Harry Dunscombe) and Music Business (1 year with Dr. Snapp).

    • My professional teaching career started by giving classical guitar lessons at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, Minnesota USA in 2001, I then developed a guitar lesson program for Rhapsody Music in Mankato for seven years from 2000-2007. I started Park Street Guitar Lessons Studio in Minnesota Lake, MN July 1, 2007, then started a guitar lesson program at The Music Mart in Mankato 2008-present, became group guitar leader at United Methodist Church in Wells, MN 2009-2010, and finally realized a successful At-Home Guitar Lessons Service from 2010-present.

    • I have also been a camp counselor at Minnesota State University, Mankato's Youth Symphony Orchestra with Dr. Harry Dunscombe for five years.

      •  I have done all of this in addition to enjoying my guitar in several local churches and most of Mankato's live concert stages in various bands and collaborations with local musicians.

      • My students often write original songs, play on concert stages, further their passions in universities and graduate schools, and definitely walk paths to becoming lifelong music lovers!
