Ryan taught group guitar class at United Methodist Church in Wells, MN during the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 school year. Ryan was the Casual Choir's lead guitarist at St. John's Lutheran Church in Mapleton, MN 2009-2010. Ryan performed a solo demonstration Vampire Choir at The Red Sky Lounge in Mankato, MN Thursday May 20, 2010. Professional recording engineer Josh Levi of Winterland Recording Studio was at Park Street Guitar Lessons studio Saturday April 10, 2010 as a guest speaker. We learned how to record instruments, how to multi-track record, and learned what it is like to work at a recording studio. Ben Williams from BW Guitars lectured at Park Street Guitar Lessons Studio Saturday April 3, 2010. Students learned how to build a guitar from scratch and learned about Ben's guitar repair and custom guitar building business in Vernon Center, MN. Ben is now attending guitar repair classes in Red Wing.

Pachyderm Recording Studio Several famous bands have stayed at Pachyderm Studio in the past to record blockbuster albums. The recording console was used by Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, and Nirvana.
Park Street Guitar Lessons hosted kindergartners from Maple River East Elementary School on a field trip Thursday March 4, 2010. Ryan played guitar at Covenant Church in Wells, MN Friday, February 12, 2010 as entertainment for an evening dinner. Ryan played Vampire Choir at Battle of the Bands Friday, Jan 15, 2010 at Buster's Bar in Mankato and won second place! Ryan saw Metallica in concert October 13, 2009, 18 years after originally seeing the band and being inspired to pick up a guitar. Things have come full circle! Park Street Guitar Lessons students took a field trip to Guitar Center on Saturday October 10, 2009! Students of Park Street Guitar Lessons got to take a field trip to La Crosse Wisconsin to the must-see Dave's Guitar Shop Saturday, September 12, 2009. Ryan performed guitar compositions at United Methodist Church in Wells, MN Sunday July 26, 2009. The performance was recorded and broadcasted on local Channel 7, Wells, MN public TV. 20 students walked in Minnesota Lake's FESTAG Parade on Wednesday July 15, 2009 to support Park Street Guitar Lessons. Jody F. from Blue Earth, MN won the blue acoustic guitar during Minnesota Lake's FESTAG Wednesday July 15, 2009. Over 15 students walked with their guitars in the Mapleton Town and Country Days Parade Saturday June 13, 2009 to support Park Street Guitar Lessons. Ryan's mother and brother made a "guitar float" that spewed music from Green Day! On May 7, 2009 Ryan Lano was a featured guest on "ArtCetera!" an arts program on KTOE 1420 AM radio, produced every Thursday at 10:10am. Shannon Robinson is the host and the show is produced by Marti Ryan. This weekly show features local artists and performers discussing their interests and the inspiration behind their art - highlighting the personalities and dreams of each artist. "The Maple River East kindergarteners had the opportunity to enhance their learning of the letter Gg by visiting Park Street Guitar on Thursday, March 5. The children enjoyed hearing a variety of different guitars. They really loved hearing the bass guitar. Mr. Lano showed the children and oud and violin as well. A couple of children even had the chance to play a guitar. It was a wonderful experience for them." Maple River East Elementary School, Minnesota Lake, MN On Sunday February 16, 2009, Park Street Guitar Lessons and Music Mart hosted a student recital at Twin Rivers Art Center in Mankato, MN. The event was filmed by KEYC Channel 12. On Wednesday February 4, 2009, Ryan Lano was guest speaker at Minnesota Lake's Community Club Banquet and entertained with a few guitar selections. Park Street Guitar Lessons students attended an "educational concert" Friday December 14, 2008 at The Myth in Maplewood, MN to see the band Dragon Force live in concert! On Sunday November 9, 2008 KEYC Channel 12 News came to Park Street Guitar Studio to film clips for an upcoming television commercial. Maple River West Middle School in Mapleton employed Ryan Lano in a two hour music and guitar lecture October 13, 2008 at Jack McGowans' Farm for Maple Rivers' Life Camp Program. Ryan performed an outdoor concert sponsored by the Hog Wild Fundraiser to support the Child Care Center of Mapleton August 30, 2008 at Heritage Park in Mapleton, MN. Ryan Lano played a free concert and guitar demonstration in Mapleton Community Park August 23, 2008 from 4-7pm. The event was sponsored by the Well Youth Center in Mapleton, MN. Students of Park Street Guitar Lessons got to see a Slash signature series Gibson Les Paul guitar autographed by Slash himself only one week prior! The guitar was on display for one day only at an open-house at Park Street Guitar Lessons Studio on July 1, 2008! Park Street Guitar Lessons celebrated it's one year anniversary on Tuesday, July 1st, 2008. There was an open-house punch and pie reception from 5-7 pm at the studio located at 11 Park Street, Minnesota Lake, MN. Park Street Guitar Lessons one-year anniversary has been acknowledged by the Maple River Messenger newspaper June 18, 2008. Ryan along with his sister Tanya performed classical guitar and flute duets at their cousins wedding on Saturday April 12, 2008 at 2pm in Shaumburg, Ill. Ryan Lano performed classical guitar Monday December 24th, 2007, at Peace United Church, Minnesota Lake, MN. On December 20th, 2007, The Well Youth Center in Mapleton invited Ryan Lano from Park Street Guitar Lessons to perform a Holiday Concert of Classical Guitar. Vampire Choir, arranged and orchestrated by Ryan Lano, performed a halloween show at The What's Up Lounge in Mankato, MN 701 North Riverfront Drive, October 23 and 30, 2007. Ryan Lano gave a FREE Halloween Concert Wednesday, October 24th, from 3:30 to 4:15pm at The Well Youth Center in Mapleton. Kids were shaken by super-scary, electric-guitar music composed by Ryan Lano. "The Connect 4 Skills program hosted its' first event of the 2007 school year with Ryan Lano, guest guitar instructor from Park Street Guitar Lessons in Minnesota Lake on September 19th, 2008 to learn more about guitars and enjoy a free lesson. The Connect 4 Skills program seeks to engage youth in activities that build healthy self-esteem and promote positive lifestyles and activities. Many of these activities takes place through skill-based mentoring and teaching by community members such as Lano. Participation in this program over the last year has continued to increase because of the participation and engagement of community leaders who have the willingness to share their talents and skills with youth." Mapleton Messenger newspaper Minnesota Lake's annual FESTAG took place on Thursday, July 12, 2007. Nine students walked with Ryan in the parade for support.
